Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services

Entrusted to annually update, revise, and implement clinical quality measures (CQMs) and electronic CQMs (eCQMs) for 22 programs at CMS (e.g., Hospital Value-Based Purchasing, Hospital Readmissions Reduction, Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting). The National Artificial Intelligence Institute led the AI Tech Sprints with VA researchers and clinicians. We leveraged advanced AI capabilities to automate processes to substantial reduce provider burden.

Impact Act technical report. Leveraged healthcare administrative claims, beneficiary data, census information, state level policies, and hospital specific effects to determine why dually eligible Medicare and Medicaid patients generally experience worse outcomes than Medicare and Medicaid alone. Model specification leveraged the latest advances from statistics, math, and health services research.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Advanced analysis performed at the CDC proved too complex for a company to perform. As a result, we were added to the contract to resolve data science issues that had been linger for over 1 year. Our team quickly analyzed all issues, including underlying assumptions. Then we promptly provided a comprehensive solution that included detailed calculation and addressed all discrepancies.
