Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
Measure Instrument Development and Support IDIQ. Used healthcare administrative claims information, beneficiary data, and census information at the county level to analyze the explanatory power of covariates on patient outcomes. Healthcare organization specific effects were included in calculations, in addition to risk stratification of patient information.

Defense Health Agency
Managed a portfolio of projects valued at over $400 million to bridge strategic gaps and establish the next generation of healthcare capabilities. Spearheaded the creation of a project database, with robust cybersecurity, to allow greater version control and access to information. Created master project plans to track over 40 projects in near real-time.

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center
Helped to manage the integration of Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Naval Medical Center to form the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, a $2.8 billion dollar project. Created strategic plans that anticipated healthcare needs to allow integrated departments to function at optimal levels. Diagnosed hospital performance issues and provided education and training.

Ascension
Executed management and purchasing oversight for St. Agnes Hospital Center, a 276-bed comprehensive teaching hospital with 20 operating rooms and annual revenue of over $600 million. Enabled St. Agnes to climb from the bottom 30% to the top 25% (among over 200 Ascension hospitals) on Key Performance Indicators. Supervised clinical operations to help St. Agnes achieve accreditation by The Joint Commission (2016). Decreased the variance for all owned single use items from 11% to 1.2%. Subject matter expert level proficiency in PeopleSoft. Entrusted to approve all purchase orders up to $100,000.

Virginia Commonwealth University Health
Evaluated hospital systems throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia to understand existing clinical processes and effective methods for transformation. Investigated the effects of key performance metrics and hospital characteristics, such as readmissions and Magnet status. Deciphered Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services charge information to understand the effects of new policies. Ensured compliance and stakeholder satisfaction with clinical process transformations using trial periods, audits, and inspections.

Walter Reed Army Institute of Research
Aided in program development by creating and editing multimillion-dollar research grants. Hired personnel to complete tasks according to grant requirements. Provided skills development training to address gaps in capabilities. Developed master schedules specific to each research grant.

Pentagon DiLorenzo TRICARE Clinic
Collected operational clinical data to evaluate the efficacy of existing processes. Engaged in data driven decision-making to provide recommendations for clinical process optimization. Engaged stakeholders to explain the rationale behind each clinical process change recommendation.
